Jan Chanas

Jan Chanas I started working at the Selkirk Legion in January 2016. I took bookkeeping training in school and continued throughout the years with plenty of hands on experience. I was first introduced to how Legions work when I lived in Gillam, MB where I was a member of Branch 245.

I am married and we have identical twin boys. We enjoy spending summer days driving our motorcycles to various Manitoba events as a family; pre-kids we took a couple cross-country trips and will look forward to doing that again if we find a couple bigger motorcycles or the kids get older and want to stay home!

Bonfires are a common occurrence on our property and we have found many excuses over the years to invite friends and family to share them with us (winter or summer), some of them even end with the bang of fireworks for the kids, big and small!
